A note about Pandemic travel: we take Covid-19 seriously. We believe in science, we wear masks, we are vaccinated. However, we did travel around the US in 2020 and 2021, and this made for not-normal experiences. We appreciate the efforts of everyone we met and stayed with and dined with who took Covid-related precautions. We were also frequently surprised when that didn’t happen. I won’t call them out (sometimes entire states!), but I also won’t promote them.
